We are excited to announce that the latest SOPs released by MKN have seen the approval for football to resume with full contact training and games.
Since the month of May, we have been continuously fine tuning a comprehensive online training program for our players to continue their football development at home. We have seen excellent results with this and we truly thank our coaches, parents, and especially our players who have committed to this and made it a success. We are confident that the players who attended the online program will see an improvement once they return back to the pitch.
Football however, is an outdoor sport with many physical, mental, and social benefits. The unfortunate truth is that our players have missed out on this consistently over the last 1.5 years. We can only imagine the impact this has on the kids along with things like missing school, etc. As we return to outdoor training, we hope that this decision is seen as a positive step to return back to some kind of normality for our players.
Football Talent Asia has developed Return-to-Play guidelines that will be implemented as per the Government and Ministry of health’s guidelines. We fully understand the dangers of Covid- 19 and will do our best to create a safe training environment for everyone. Implementing Football Talent Asia's Return-to-Play Guidelines will require a cooperative relationship between our Club, Coaches, Parents and Players. While the club and coaches create a safe environment, the parents must also make sure that they and their child are safe and have not been in close contact with any positive cases. Please refrain from sending your child to training and exposing others if you and your family have had contact with cases or have been experiencing any Covid symptoms. We need to work together to create a safe space for our players so accountability and transparency is key.
